JUNIOR CHARITY LEAGUE |
From its inception, Junior Charity League has provided volunteers for a number of local agencies in Dallas.
Junior Charity League was first composed of approximately 20 daughters and daughters-in-law of Charity League members. A constitution was formed, and JCL became incorporated in 1986. Beginning in 1988, additional “group project” volunteer opportunities were pursued exposing members to the diversity of needs throughout the Dallas area, and also providing the opportunity to complete tasks for agencies that a single volunteer could not perform.
Junior Charity League is proud of the relationship forged with Parkland Rehabilitation Unit since 1970. Funds raised by JCL have helped hundreds of patients having limited or no resources by providing them with necessary medical equipment allowing them to function more independently once they leave the hospital. Junior Charity League is proud to have donated over $2 million dollars to the Parkland Rehabilitation Fund.
