JUNIOR CHARITY LEAGUE |
Since 1960, Junior Charity League has made a difference in our community, and we strive to continue that legacy. Junior Charity League is an organization of women committed to promoting compassion and volunteerism throughout Dallas County.
Throughout the year, our volunteers will work with Project Transformation by assembling curriculum, laminating, and sorting books all in the effort to help serve school aged children. We will also assist in tutoring at their after school program.
At Scottish Rite Hospital, our membership donates homemade baked goods for their semi-annual Holiday Bazaar, assemble patient packets, and perform a variety of other jobs that are requested of us. Preparing and serving lunch at Ronald McDonald House, and working at their fundraiser, The Trains of NorthPark, is always a membership favorite.
The Stewpot is another agency that JCL shares a relationship with, serving lunch onsite once a month.
Members also volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank, packaging meals for members in the community.
